Del Computers y2K Problem

I thought we had seen the last of the Y2K issue in 2000. But this week I got a letter from Jaivinder Gill, General Manager - Small & Medium Business at Dell Inc, which said:

"As someone who looked into buying a Dell product in January 1900 ..."

Presumably Dell meant "January 2000", as I wasn't around in 1900, and Dell was only founded in 1984.

I bought one of their wide screen LCD displays, which works very well as a computer display and TV for home theatre.

But the follow on marketing can be a bit relentless.
