Green award for university campus
The Australian National Unviersity has won the 2009 Impact Award from the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN) in Switzerland. The award is for a sustainable campus with the integrated application of the principles of energy efficiency and environmental sensitivity. Other finalists were: Tongji University, Gothenburg University, Luneburg University and Warren Wilson College. ISCN encourages environment-friendly energy and mobility solutions, and sustainability education and research in architecture, engineering and other disciplines. I will be teaching Green ICT to Masters students around the world on an ANU e-learning course from July 2009.
