The Story of Canberra
Canberra Tourism
Before construction of this planned city of the twentieth century there lies an interesting tale of discovery and settlement as the white man arrived on the Limestone Plains of south-eastern New South Wales. Numerous relics remain to tell the story of Yesterday's Canberra.
It is, as Walter Burley Griffin predicted, 'unlike any other city in the world'.
