Dickson Festival - 21 November 1998

Come along on Saturday, 21 November 1998, to Dickson shopping precinct to discover the range and variety of shops and services in the area.

There will be:

An Artists' Walk where Canberra and Queanbeyan artists show their works, including demonstrations of work in progress;
Exhibitions of hats, felting and embroidery;
Brass bands from local schools - Daramalan, Lyneham High, Brindabella Christian College;
Jugglers and unicyclists;
Balloon Modelling and Face Painting by the Gecko Gang
Story Telling Tent
Wine Tasting
500 free show bags will be given away
one lucky shopper will win a television set and there will be other prizes

Dickson has lots more than a supermarket, library and Post Office - come and explore the rest and join in the fun.
