Email Test Document
Fail
This document was created to test if long web addresses are handled correctly when included in electronic mail messages.
According to RFC 1738 "Uniform Resource Locators (URL) the characters "<" and ">" are used as the delimiters around URLs (such as web addresses) in text ("quote marks" may be used in some systems).
Thus the address for this web page should be written in an email message as:
<http://www.tomw.net.au/icantbelieve/thatthisisgoingtowork/butiminterested/tosee/index.html>
However, because the email address is very long, some email systems may insert a space in the message.
If this document has a subheading of "Pass" when you were directed here from a link in a mail message, then the system successfully interpreted the long address. If you see "Fail" then there is a problem with your email system interpreting the address.
