Internet Reality Check
5:30pm Monday, 29 June 1998
At the EDM'98 Conference, Millennium Hotel, Sydney
Topic: What's Up With E-Docs?
Special Guest: Professor Hilf, Department of Physics, Carl von Ossietzky University, Germany
Note change of venue and bookings are required
What are the latest developments with electronic document management globally? Will American English dominate the Internet as the global electronic language? Join speakers and delegates to this year's EDM'98 Conference to discuss these issues (and drink the free drinks).
Professor Hilf is a member of the action committee on Publications and Scientific Communication; EPS (European Physical society) in the DPG (German Phys.Soc.) for Information and communication.
- This Internet Reality Check is being held in conjunction with the Electronic Document Management 1998 Conference, with drinks courtesy of FileNET.
- Attendance, apart from conference delegates and speakers, is limited and bookings are required (to Tom Worthington).
- Internet Reality Check (not to be confused with Internet Relay Chat) is designed so that members of the 'net community can meet and exchange the small amount of very important information which is not suitable for digital transmission. ;-)
